Mike was one of my shop chiefs during my tenure in VP-19. Mike was quite famous for his little white sports car that he drove everyday to work! He flew on the XO's crew with AW2 Darnell and AW2 Anderson. He would later transfer over to Wing 10 and I believe he retired from there.

AWC Jim "Bucket" Hunnewell:
Mike was my Command Senior Chief at CPW-10 when I made AWC in 1988. He transferred in 1990 to PQSDEVGRU San Diego for a couple of years and then retired. I heard from Mike in 1999 via e-mail. He said he was back at his home in Los Altos and still driving that white sports car.
