Jim was my department head when I was at FASO Moffett. A level-headed guy who helped position in me in jobs that would help my career. I'll never forget the question he asked me during an LDO board. My response was totally screwed up. The following year when I re-appeared in front of that board...he asked if I remembered the question he asked last year. I said I most certainly do and I've had a whole year to reflect upon it. He then said "refresh me". My answer was right...but it took a whole year to get it right.
