I came to VP-56 in 68'as an AO1 (AC) and flew with Lcdr. Frank Beebe's crew. I changed my rate to AW and was then assigned to the crew of Cdr. Macintire CO on the first P-3C that the squadron transitioned to. My last PPC was Cdr. Meltzer CO before I retired in Mar. of 71'.
