Snap was sort of an institution...he was the CMC at CPWP in Moffett for what seemed to be an eternity. He was always a "by the book guy". Still feeling rather full of myself after making AWC, he "reminded" me once at the Moffett sick bay that there was a better place to store my pen...other then hanging from my uniform shirt. He raised my pocket flap and showed me the little sleeve sew-ed in to store pens. Although I was somewhat embarrassed, I would later ensure that all CPO selectees were aware of that pen pocket. Thanks Snap for keeping me squared away!
