Family and Shipmates Comments:
Pat Taylor (J.J.'s Mom):
J.J. lived 21 of his 22 years in the same house, which he loved. His favorite spot was the Greendale swimming pool. He would be there when it opened at 1 PM and come home when it closed at 5 PM.
The cemetery where he is buried is directly across the street from the pool. My husband and I chose his burial site because it overlooked the pool. Having his body recovered from the ocean floor meant more to us than words could ever express. My heart goes out to all the families who are losing their loved ones during all that has happened since 9/11. What you are doing with your Memorial is a great comfort!

AWCM (AW) Phil Griffin:
" 'JJ' was an excellent ASW 1ST Aircrewman and a regular Mr Fix-it as well as an extreme hobbyist."
