Lost at sea on a night ASW training flight off Bermuda while embarked on USS America (CV-66).
Shipmates comments: AWCM McGiff (from AW Memorial dedication): I look out and see AWCM (Retired) Stan and Mrs Teresa Bostwick and remember how my wife and I shared some great times while we were stationed together in Lajes, Azores in 1984 and 1985. While we went our separate ways after that tour, we kept in touch as friends will. I know that both Stan and Teresa were so proud when their son Vince joined the Navy; picked AW as his rate, graduated
from NACCS, RSS, AW 'A' and HS-1, where Stan was the training master chief, and went on to HS-11 in Jax. AW3 Vince Bostwick's name is on the "Wall".Media articles:
